Davao del Sur State College Institutional Repository.https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14578/416The study explores the quantitative relationship between language anxiety and the improvement of oral communication abilities in students majoring in English for Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED). This study employed a descriptive-correlational design. Descriptive research is the most basic sort of investigation that aims to gather information about occurrences occurring at a specific moment in time. A total of 108 BSED English students participated in the study. Findings revealed that language anxiety, which manifests as fear of speaking in class, pronunciation issues, and self-consciousness during interactions, is a substantial impediment to the development of oral communication skills in BSED English major students.
