Item Science pedagogical knowledge and creativity of STEM teachers in Digos CityAlag, Jaycel Rollan (Davao del Sur State College, 2025-05)This study sought to characterize Public School STEM teachers' pedagogical expertise and creativity in teaching science and ascertain if the two factors are connected. Furthermore, investigated in connection with the profile of the instructors with respect of sex, age, civil status, highest educational attainment, designation and number of years in service was the description of pedagogical expertise and creativity. While creativity in teaching science includes four characteristics namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration, the parameters for pedagogical knowledge are content knowledge, general pedagogical knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge. The investigation included eighteen professors managing scientific courses in the school year 2024-2025, namely in the fields of Biological, Earth and Physical Sciences. According to research findings, male make up majority of the faculty members teaching scientific disciplines. Both the instructors' degree of educational understanding and their inventiveness were noted as quite good. Therefore, the pedagogical competence of the instructor and their inventiveness in teaching scientific disciplines have a noteworthy correlation.
