Item Beliefs and strategies in language learning among secondary studentsArcayna, Danica V. (Davao del Sur State College, 2025-01)This study was conducted to determine the relationship of beliefs in language learning and language learning strategies among secondary students of Serapion C. Basalo Memorial Colleges. This study found out some conclusions that obtained the objectives of the study, it includes first the significant difference to the level of beliefs in language learning in terms of gender and year level. Quite similar in terms of language learning strategies when categorized to gender were dominated by female. It also revealed that meta-cognitive strategies were utilized compared to cognitive strategies. Moreover, the study had revealed that there was a significant relationship between the beliefs in language and strategies, supported that higher level of students does not reflect that they utilized.
